Congratulations to our Pastor on his appointment to serve on the Board of Directors of Collins Chapel Hospital in Memphis, TN. The appointment was made by Bishop Reddick on Thursday this past week.

Today is the 1st Round of our Annual Conference Budget Drive. The total amount is $150.00 for each adult member. Please begin making payments today. If you were not contacted by a Captain, please place your asking in an envelope and indicate "for Conference Budget". All Captains, please make reports to the Finance Committee immediately following morning service.

All men please meet following morning service to plan for Men's Day.

The Budget Committee to meet Tues., Sept. 7th at 6:30 p.m.
The Annual Conference Committee to meet immediately following at 7:30 p.m.(all members are invited to participate).

Praise, Prayer/Bible Study Wednesday at 7 p.m. Our Youth Fellowship & Bible Class is at 7 p.m. also, we are in need of committed Youth Bible Study teachers. Choir rehearsal immediately following Bible Study.

Prayer Vigil Friday, Sept. 10th at 7 p.m. Preceded with a meeting of all prayer warriors at 6:30 p.m..

Bishop's Planning Meeting Sat., Sept. 11th beginning at 9 a.m to 1 p.m. at Cedar Crest. All Annual Conference leaders are to attend.

The Missionary is soliciting donations for blankets for the homeless. Deadline for donations is Sept. 10th.
